Designed to Communicate. Built for Speed.

Created for presentation at Expo 2022, this large-scale visualization assignment brought together twelve independent development projects across Guyana, including residential communities, urban developments, industrial facilities, and public infrastructure.

The objective was to communicate the overall vision, scale, and spatial organization of each proposed development through a complete architectural animation.

These were conceptual presentations, not detailed architectural or construction-level visualizations. The production brief prioritized comprehensive project coverage, clear visual communication, and rapid delivery over photorealistic detailing. Smaller architectural elements, landscaping, streetscape features, and individual property details were intentionally simplified to reflect the conceptual stage of the projects.

Twelve Independent Projects. One Coordinated Production.

Working in collaboration with AEGIS, with the Government of Guyana as the end client, the assignment involved the creation of twelve separate 3D environments and twelve complete architectural animations.

Hadi Mahdian was fully responsible for the architectural and masterplan design of Silica City and Lethem Town Development, from initial planning and spatial organization through to the complete design of both developments. In addition, he carried out 3D modeling, environment visualization, and architectural animation production across the wider twelve-project collection.

Each development required its own visual presentation, while the entire collection had to maintain a consistent approach to modeling, scene organization, camera movement, and storytelling.

Completing twelve independent animations within just two months demanded a streamlined production workflow, efficient management of large-scale 3D environments, and a clear understanding of where visual detail added value to the presentation.

The resulting films were prepared to communicate Guyana’s proposed development initiatives to an international audience at Expo 2022.
